An LED steering wheel is a performance steering wheel equipped with built-in LED lights and, in many cases, a digital display screen. These LED lights are usually installed at the top of the steering wheel and can light up according to driving data such as engine RPM.
When the engine speed increases, the LED lights rise gradually, giving the driver a clear visual signal for shifting. This creates a more race-inspired driving experience, similar to the shift light systems used in performance and motorsport vehicles.
Depending on the system, an LED steering wheel may also display information such as:
- RPM
- Speed
- Oil temperature
- Water temperature
- Battery voltage
- Driving mode information
- Custom display themes
- Shift light alerts
This makes the steering wheel not only a control part, but also an intelligent information center inside the cockpit.
